Need a fitting first? New to contacts, switching brands, or prescription expired? Book an eye exam & contact lens fitting in Edmonton — $135, with trial lenses to test before you buy. Book online.
Contact lenses sit directly on the surface of your eye. That makes a proper fitting more important than most people realize. The base curve, diameter, and material all need to match your eyes specifically — and we see patients come in all the time wearing lenses with the wrong base curve for years without knowing it.
The difference with buying from a local optician is that when something feels off, you can actually walk in and sort it out. No waiting on hold with an online retailer. Our opticians can check the lens on your eye, adjust the fit, or switch you to a different brand the same day.
You still get the convenience of online ordering with free shipping across Canada on orders over $100. But you also have a real team on Ellerslie Road who knows your eyes. Online convenience + local expertise.
A contact lens fitting is a quick evaluation where we look at the surface of your eye, measure the curvature of your cornea, and determine which lens type, brand, and size will work best. It happens alongside a comprehensive eye exam, so you get everything done in one visit.
Fittings are especially useful if you're trying contacts for the first time, switching brands, or if it's been a few years since your last fitting. You'll leave with trial lenses to wear for a few days so you can test the comfort before committing.
Most appointments are available within the week. Book online — we're on Ellerslie Road in south Edmonton. More details on our contact lens fitting page.
A lot of people don't realize their insurance covers contact lenses, not just glasses. Most plans include an annual or biannual vision allowance that applies to contacts the same way it applies to frames.
We direct bill Alberta Blue Cross, Canada Life, Desjardins, Great-West Life, AISH, and Alberta Works. Bring your insurance card and we'll handle the claim on the spot. Not sure what your plan covers? Call us at (780) 490-0090. More details on our insurance providers page.
